The Tiki Bar Band has performed in and around Coastal Virginia since 2012. They have performed 1,000+ shows, mostly as a duo, but the band can expand to a full-size band. When you Google The Tiki Bar Band, you will find they are the number one “summer fun” band in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The lead singer is Billy Kendra whose vocal resemblance to Jimmy Buffett has led him to perform with members of the Jimmy Buffett band. He also lends his talents to the band Party Fins, a Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band. They have headlined events such as the 4th of July Celebration in Staunton, Virginia, and the American Music Festival and Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach. Billy is partnered with instrumentalist Robbie Meade whose abilities with the guitar and steel pan drum have taken him around the country and aboard numerous cruise ships. Together, they are in high demand and have recently performed for the STIHL corporation, Navy Seal Association, Norfolk Tides, and are regularly booked for events at the prestigious Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach. They cover a wide range of musical genres from tropical, country, and classic rock.
