Marty C. Moore is a professional musician whose passion lies in writing and performing music. Introduced to music at a young age, he studied piano and violin, before falling in love with acoustic guitar. He started taking voice lessons while in college where he also received a degree in music education and music composition. Marty's strongest influences are artists who are explorative and resourceful; who aren't afraid to think outside of the box and bring a fullness to their music beyond just guitar, bass, and drums. As a songwriter, Marty's music has been compared to that of Bob Dylan with "a dissonance of main grooves, wide-open chords, and melodies." You can find Marty performing weekly and hosting several open mics throughout the Hampton Roads Virginia area, where he was born and raised. He performs acoustic classics from a wide variety of genres and time periods. A little something for everyone!
