Ian Foutz has grown up around music. From when he was three years old, singing with his dad on stage until the age of 14, when he got his first solo gig. Ian has always been in love with music and performing. Ian is the son of Virginia-based musician, Mitch Foutz, so it is only natural that he follow in his father’s footsteps. Growing up listening to all kinds of music, and being fascinated with the rock band KISS, Ian brings energy and excitement wherever he performs. Ian covers a wide variety of artists from John Mayer to The Cadillac Three. Not only does he perform cover songs, but he also has written his own original songs. In 2013, Ian released an EP entitled Breaker, and also, two singles with his band, Backwoods Company. In 2014, he received an endorsement from InTune Guitar Picks. Ian is a versatile vocalist, guitarist, and drummer. He has been quoted as saying, “No matter if I’m playing for two people or a thousand people, I will always bring the same energy and get everyone involved and high on life and music.” Going to an Ian Foutz show, you will definitely be entertained because Ian goes above and beyond in his performances.
