Annual Surfin' Turkey 5k and Puppy Drum Fun Run

Run wherever you are! If you are on Hatteras Island we encourage you to run our USATF Certified Course in Hatteras Village. Our traditional Surfin' Turkey course, as you have known it in previous years, will be marked and decorated for you to run as an individual or as a Rafter Group. We invite you and your family to dress up and take a finisher photo at our provided backdrop located at the Hatteras Village Civic Center.

You can run, walk, or jog on the road, trail, at the gym, or on a treadmill. You get to run the race, at your own pace, submit your finish time online and all for a good cause! All proceeds from this race support the Hatteras Island Youth Education Fund (HIYEF). HIYEF provides funding for educational opportunities and enrichment for the students on Hatteras Island.
